ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of this Electrician is to undertake electrical maintenance of plant machinery and equipment, carry out inspection of machinery and equipment as per given instructions. Measures overall maintenance performance & suggest Improvement plans.

Responsibilities:

· Undertakes preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities as per maintenance procedures and schedules.

· Inspect machinery and equipment to identify electrical faults and determine corrective actions.

· Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces defective electrical components, wiring, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.

· Supports the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and electrical equipment.

· Interprets electrical drawings, manuals, and technical documents to perform maintenance activities.

· Determines electrical spare parts requirements and initiates requisitions when necessary.

· Carries out routine inspections to ensure machine reliability, safety, and availability.

· Maintains accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used.

· Provides technical support and basic maintenance guidance to production personnel.

· Ensures compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO requirements, and company standards.

· Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

· Performs other related duties as required.

ABOUT YOU
You are/have:
· University degree, in Electrical/ /Electronics or similar Engineering field

· 3+ years’ experience working as Electrical technician.
