ABOUT THE ROLE
As the IT Network Administrator, you will be in charge of the installation, configuration, maintenance, administration and troubleshooting the network infrastructure.
Main mission:
Installation and maintenance of equipment
- Install and maintain equipment required for physical installation (rack, mounting hardware, grounding).
- Maintain inventory of all Hardware & Software (CD, DVD, storage device, spare parts)
- Installing and configuring Employees computer systems, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software, backup, network infrastructure, and other IT devices.
Network interface equipment troubleshoots
- Diagnosing and troubleshoot software, networking, or hardware issues (routers, switches, firewall, VoIP and security systems).
Network analysis
- Perform network analysis, capacity planning and testing for organization's LAN/WAN environment.
- Use appropriate information and data analysis techniques to diagnose the problem.
- Identify problems and search for potential solutions and evaluate them against problem characteristics, system usage and configuration.
- Assist in the creation of processes and procedures for network operation.
Capacity planning and testing for organization's LAN/WAN environment
- Responsible for power and grounding that will meet specifications for proper operation and safety.
- Manage and support AWS, Azure Cloud services, and other Microsoft platform technologies such as Windows Server.
- Manage servers in an Active Directory environment
- Perform network analysis, capacity planning and testing for organization's system environment.
- Assisting in procurement of IT devices
Routine and emergency maintenance of LAN/WAN equipment
- Secure the wiring closet and access to the WAN interface.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance of LAN/WAN equipment (routers, switches, firewall, VoIP and security systems).
- Configure and Manage Firewalls and Network Management including VPN, IDS/IPS.
- Server Management including back up’s
- Escalate problems according to company policy.
- Prepare and revise as needed the Network configuration that follows the organization’s format and procedures and is organized for most efficient access by other users.
- Monitor and Manage the Backups, Antivirus & Email Security
Reporting
- Prepare and communicate trouble reports that communicate information accurately, clearly and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining records as per compliance requirements
- Assisting in audits
ABOUT YOU
You are/have:
Educational Requirements
- B.E / B. Tech in Information Systems, Computer engineering, Communication Engineering, CCNA, Networking course or equivalent
Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in network administration
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and their functionality
- Knowledge of routing and switching and their functionality
Knowledge and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, firewalls, VOIP and Call Manager
- Knowledge of Manage Engine, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows Server roles and features.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint & OneDrive
