ABOUT THE ROLE
Under the direction of the Human Resource and Administration Manager, in collaboration with the human resource department, you will :
1. Talent Acquisition:
- Actively source the most relevant profiles on dedicated platforms and networks using innovative strategies to attract candidates.
- Act as a business partner to train, guide, and advise hiring managers on all talent acquisition initiatives.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by engaging with potential candidates and communities.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment progress and performance.
- Continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
2. Human Resource Operations:
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and program to ensure cohesion and compliance.
- Administer staff records and personnel files, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate performance management processes with departmental heads and file reviews accordingly.
- Administer employee benefits (medical insurance, pension schemes, safety and health).
- Manage leave schedules and ensure staff take leave when due.
- Oversee employee separations such as resignations/terminations.
- Ensure compliance with disciplinary processes and support the resolution of employee relations issues.
- Prepare, maintain and update records of disciplinary meetings, Monthly work reports, Regular staff meetings, inter-departmental communication records and other committee related documentations accurately.
- Under the direction of the HR and Admin Manager and in collaboration with the human resource department, follow-up the administration of compensation programs including job evaluations, salary reviews and administration.
3. Employee Experience:
- Prepare orientation materials and organize induction sessions for new employees.
- In collaboration with departmental heads, identify training and development needs, source training providers, and monitor outcomes.
- Promote employee wellbeing by coordinating health, safety, and welfare initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, openness, and engagement across the organization.

• Timely recruitment process
• Updated leave plan
• Updated personnel files
• Develop annual training plan
• Timely payments effects & follow-ups
ABOUT YOU
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a fast growing environment.
- A Manufacturing or an Industrial related work experience is a must.
- Good Exposure to Labour intensive setups and Labour Handling issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
Technical skills & Analytic skills :
• Computer & Presentation skills
• Ability to manage large volume works
• Should depict excellent organizational skills.
Interpersonal and Behavioural competencies:
• Able to influence the behaviour and decisions of people on matters concerning recruitment and other personnel or individual issues.
• Able to cope with change, to be flexible and to handle uncertainty.
• Able to communicate well, orally and in writing
• Have interests in learning new environments, duties and tasks.
• Amharic, English & additional language knowledge is an advantage.
