ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of this technician is to Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Measures overall maintenance performance & suggests enhancement plans.

Responsibilities:

• Analyses problems detected in mechanical devices in operation and to find the causes to implement correctives solutions to avoid halting of operation due to unexpected emergencies.
• Support new machines/equipment’s installation in the factory.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment spare parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders when needed for any possible replacements.
• Prepares preventive plan to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient functioning of machines.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Prepares quotation and technical specs for requested spare parts/equipment(s) to deliver them to purchasing department for final processing.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

• University degree, in Electrical/ Mechanical /Electronics/ Industrial Engineering or similar field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working as machine maintenance technician.
